The Yobe State Government has taken a firm stance against sexual violence, promising to ensure justice for a four-year-old girl who was allegedly raped by a 22-year-old HIV-positive man in Jakusko Local Government Area.
Heinous Crime Details Emerge
The suspect, identified as Rabilu Sani, reportedly lured the young victim into a room where he sexually assaulted her, causing severe physical and emotional trauma to the innocent child. The case has drawn widespread condemnation from state officials and community members alike.
According to police spokesperson SP Dungus Abdulkarim, law enforcement authorities acted swiftly, arresting the suspect on November 9, 2025. The police confirmed that Sani will be charged to court once investigations are complete.

Yobe State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Honorable Hajiya Ya Jalo Badama, expressed deep concern and total condemnation of the brutal act during her official visit to the Yobe State Police Command Headquarters in Damaturu on Wednesday, November 12.
During her meeting with Police Commissioner CP Emmanuel Ado, Badama described the incident as "inhuman, unacceptable, and a gross violation of the rights of children". She urgently called on the police to ensure the suspect faces the full wrath of the law without delay.
