Security operatives have arrested a suspected kidnapper, Husaini Jibrin, 45, in Kamuru Village, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, Kaduna State. The arrest was made during an intelligence-led operation conducted in collaboration with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force from Laduga Village.
Arrest Based on Credible Intelligence
The arrest followed credible intelligence linking the suspect to a recent kidnapping incident in Angwan Ali, Kamuru Chiefdom, which reportedly resulted in the death of one victim. According to security sources, the operation was carried out without resistance and was described as hitch-free.
Items Recovered from Suspect
Items recovered from the suspect include N10,000 in cash and a Techno keypad mobile phone.
The 45-year-old suspect, who hails from Ungwan Bala Village in Kachia Local Government Area, is currently in custody and undergoing investigation in connection with the kidnapping case referenced in earlier operational reports.
