A Nigerian woman has made an emotional public appeal for help after her sister and brother-in-law were among those kidnapped during a deadly terrorist attack on a church in Eruku, Kwara State.
The Tragic Incident Unfolds
The attack occurred on November 20, 2025, when armed terrorists stormed a church during service in Eruku community. According to reports, several worshippers were killed during the violent invasion, while multiple others were abducted and taken to an unknown location.
The victim's sister, who identifies as @pelumi3020 on TikTok, shared her heartbreaking story just hours after the incident. She revealed she was in class when she received the devastating news about the attack on her sister's church.
Family's Desperate Search
The distraught woman shared a photograph confirming that her sister is married to the pastor seen in viral videos from the attack, who was wearing yellow robes and praying at the altar when the assailants struck.
In her emotional post, she wrote: "I was in class when I heard this. I felt shocked and couldn't concentrate anymore. My blood sister was among the victims kidnapped in that church, that her husband was wearing yellow and praying on the altar when these wicked people arrived."
She made a passionate plea to the public, saying: "Please help me fight for justice. My sister must not die #JusticeForAkinolaElizabeth. I don't ever want to lose her. Please guys, help me to repost and join me to pray for them to come home safe."
Growing Concerns for Safety
In a subsequent post, the worried sister expressed deeper concerns about the captives' wellbeing, indicating she had received troubling information about their condition.
"Justice For Akinola Elizabeth. I must not lose my sister," she wrote. "Help me repost and pray for my sis, guys. She is suffering where she is; they have wounded her and taken her with them. She is not feeling okay where she is, I know."
The kidnapping has sparked widespread concern among Nigerians, particularly in Kwara State where residents are expressing growing fears about security in the region.
One commenter, Miss Aduks, captured the mounting anxiety: "This is so sad kwara state is not safe anymore we can't sleep with our eyes closed, I'm just so tired and scared fr may God come to their rescue and intervene on this situation."
