In a brazen security breach, gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted three daughters of the Director of the Plateau State Water Board, Engineer Apollos Simon Samchi. A source disclosed to security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama that the abduction took place at approximately 12:53 a.m. The attack was first reported through a distress call indicating that gunshots were heard around Dumac Suites in Rantya. Upon investigation, it was revealed that armed assailants had forced their way into Engineer Samchi's home.
The victims have been identified as Nanlop Samchi, Kyenret Samchi, and Favour Samchi, all female children of the Water Board Director. In addition to the abduction, the attackers shot the family's security guard, Benard Makjwan, in the stomach during the assault. Makjwan was promptly rushed to Bingham University Teaching Hospital in Jos, where he is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
