Denmark has officially published a comprehensive list of 113 countries whose citizens do not qualify for visa-free entry into the country. This announcement follows the earlier release of a list of African countries whose citizens can travel to Denmark without a visa.
Countries Requiring Visas for Denmark
The list includes numerous African countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, and many others, as well as countries from Asia, the Americas, and Europe. Below is the full list of countries whose citizens must obtain a visa before traveling to Denmark:

Exemptions for Biometric Passport Holders
According to the Danish government's website, citizens of some countries on the list may still be eligible for visa-free entry if they hold biometric passports issued under specific conditions set by Denmark. The affected countries include Moldova, Kosovo, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Ukraine, Taiwan, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. Travelers from these nations should check with Danish authorities to confirm their eligibility.
The Danish government stated: "If you are a citizen of one of the following countries, you must have a visa in order to enter Denmark." However, it added that exemptions apply for biometric passport holders from the aforementioned countries.
Previous Announcement on Visa-Free African Countries
Earlier, Denmark had released a separate list of African countries whose citizens can travel to Denmark without a visa. That list includes only Mauritius and Seychelles, meaning citizens of all other African nations require a visa to enter Denmark.
