Exemptions for Biometric Passport Holders

According to the Danish government's website, citizens of some countries on the list may still be eligible for visa-free entry if they hold biometric passports issued under specific conditions set by Denmark. The affected countries include Moldova, Kosovo, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Ukraine, Taiwan, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. Travelers from these nations should check with Danish authorities to confirm their eligibility.

The Danish government stated: "If you are a citizen of one of the following countries, you must have a visa in order to enter Denmark." However, it added that exemptions apply for biometric passport holders from the aforementioned countries.

Previous Announcement on Visa-Free African Countries

Earlier, Denmark had released a separate list of African countries whose citizens can travel to Denmark without a visa. That list includes only Mauritius and Seychelles, meaning citizens of all other African nations require a visa to enter Denmark.
