“Nigeria is going through difficult times, and it's troubling to see some people defending those responsible for violence and loss of innocent lives,” he wrote. “We must rise above ethnic, political, religious sentiments and allow our conscience to guide us in standing for justice, peace and the sanctity of human life.”
