What Witnesses Saw

Graphic footage on social media shows a man lying by the side of the road near a car, with a bullet hole visible through the driver's side of the front windshield. Witness Lucas Scott, 18, reported that the driver accelerated toward the agents, who were wearing green vests and had drawn their weapons. “The car was put into drive and was trying to hit the ICE officer,” Scott said. He added that the agent fired approximately four shots. “I just heard the popping, but I did see him draw his gun,” Scott stated.

Driver's Final Moments

Another witness, Daniel Boucher, described seeing the driver exit the car, bleeding heavily from his head. The driver reportedly said, “I tried to stop.” Authorities have not yet identified the driver.

Biddeford resident Larry Humiston recalled a prior incident where ICE agents chased individuals working on a roof. “They chased down a bunch of guys working on a roof down the street a week or two ago. They all ran. I saw one guy jump off the roof to get away. They left all their equipment on top of the roof,” Humiston told the Portland Press Herald. The shooting remains under investigation by local authorities and ICE.
