Nigerian Lady Searches for Father Missing Since Sept 2024

Ugochi Ugwuanyi, a Nigerian spoken words artist, has renewed her appeal for help in locating her father, Anthony Okechukwu Cosmas Ugwuanyi, who has been missing since September 23, 2024. She shared his photographs on Facebook on June 21, 2026, which coincided with Father's Day, urging the public to come forward with any information.

Father's Last Words Before Disappearance

According to Ugochi, her father left home on the morning of September 23, 2024, as usual, telling family members, "See you in the evening." However, he never returned. Despite extensive searches and efforts by the family, there has been no trace of him. Ugochi noted that they have searched everywhere possible and done everything within their power, but he remains missing.

Public Appeal on Father's Day

In her Facebook post, Ugochi wrote: "My father, he went missing on the 23rd of September, 2024. According to my sibling, he left in the morning as usual and told them, 'See you in the evening.' But evening came and my father did not return. Since then, we have searched, everywhere possible. We have asked. We have done all we can, but my father has not returned. Today is Father's Day, so I will just post this here. Should anyone see anybody that looks like this, please do contact the numbers on this picture below. You could also help me share. Maybe he is somewhere. Or maybe not. But we didn't see his corpse. Happy Father's Day to all good fathers."
