A yet-to-be-identified young lady was killed on Tuesday night, June 23, after being hit by a speeding vehicle in a convoy on Road A within the Rivers State University (RSU) campus. The impact caused her to hit her head on the tarred road, leading to fatal injuries, according to reports.
Convoy Flees After Realizing Victim's Death
Some vehicles in the convoy and their occupants reportedly fled the scene after realizing that the woman had died. The incident occurred around 9:53 PM, as shared by blogger Linda Ikeji on Instagram.
Police Yet to Respond
The Rivers State Police Command has not yet reacted to the tragic incident. No arrests have been reported as of the time of this publication.
