Renowned cleric Prophet Sam Olu Alo has publicly commended the Nigerian and United States governments for their collaborative military action against terrorist strongholds in Sokoto State.
Endorsement of Strategic Security Partnership
The Zonal Superintendent of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Grace of Prayer Mountain Zone, described the Christmas Day airstrike as a timely and commendable intervention. In a statement released by his Personal Assistant, Deji Ogunbusuyi, Prophet Alo expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for demonstrating the political will to approve the strategic collaboration with the US war ministry.
He emphasized that this partnership is already producing positive outcomes in the nation's protracted fight against terrorism and insurgency. The cleric framed the operation's intention as a crucial step towards restoring lasting peace and security across Nigeria.
Spiritual Initiatives for the Nation
While extending Christmas felicitations to Nigerians, particularly Christians, Prophet Alo announced a significant spiritual programme. He declared a three-day fasting and prayer session for Nigeria and the global community, scheduled to hold from December 29 to December 31, 2025.
The event will take place at Jesus City, Adamimogo Camp, located along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos. The cleric urged widespread participation, stating the programme is designed to prepare believers spiritually for the new year 2026.
Prophetic Journey to Biblical Sites
In a related development, Prophet Alo disclosed plans for an international spiritual expedition. He revealed he will be departing the prayer camp on January 1, 2026, for the Republic of Jordan.
The purpose of the visit is to tour significant biblical locations to deepen spiritual growth. He specifically mentioned plans to offer prayers for Nigeria at biblical Jordan and Mount Sinai. The cleric invited his church members, online followers, and a global audience to join this spiritual exercise via his social media platforms.
In his Christmas message, Prophet Alo stated, "We are grateful that an important and very great development is happening at this time with the airstrike against terrorism in the North-West. This indeed is the Lord's doing." He further called on Christians to embody Christ-like love and conduct.
Concluding his address, Prophet Alo urged the government to persistently prioritize the security and welfare of citizens, aligning leadership actions with divine expectations. He extended seasonal greetings to President Tinubu, governors, legislators, ministers, and all supporters of the Adamimogo Ministry.
