The company was incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in March 2025.

Ejibunu explained that Hawaz International has obtained operational recognitions and certifications from major aviation and travel regulatory institutions, including the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA), and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). These certifications enable the company to operate in the country's aviation industry.

He maintained that the company was established to bridge operational gaps within Nigeria's aviation sector by providing reliable, efficient, and globally compliant aviation support services.
