Nigerian Breweries Plc has announced the appointment of Nkechi Runsewe as its new human resources director, effective August 1, 2026. Runsewe joins the company from its parent firm, HEINEKEN, and will succeed Grace Omo-Lamai, who is retiring on July 28 after nearly a decade of distinguished service.
New Leadership for Human Resources
According to a statement by the company's Corporate Affairs Director, Uzo Odenigbo, Runsewe will play a central role in translating Nigerian Breweries' EverGreen 2030 strategy into reality. Her responsibilities include shaping the organisation's design, leadership behaviours, workforce capabilities, and performance systems to deliver sustained volume growth, cost discipline, and repeatable performance.
