He started his academic journey at Yaba College of Technology, earning a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and Finance. He later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. Additionally, Oyedele has completed executive education programmes at prestigious global institutions, including the London School of Economics, Yale University, the Gordon Institute of Business Science in South Africa, and the Harvard Kennedy School in the United States.
Extensive Career in Finance and Government
Before entering government service, Oyedele spent 22 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), joining in 2001 and rising to the position of Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader. In this role, he advised governments and multinational corporations on tax policy and fiscal reforms, building a reputation as a leading expert in the field.

Beyond his professional career, Oyedele is actively involved in academia. He serves as a professor at Babcock University in Ogun State and is a visiting scholar at the Lagos Business School.
