Heirs Insurance Group has achieved a significant milestone as two of its subsidiaries, Heirs Life Assurance and Heirs General Insurance, have been included in the 2026 Financial Times list of Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies. This recognition underscores the Group’s expanding influence within Africa’s insurance sector.
Out of 130 companies acknowledged across various industries, Heirs Life Assurance secured the 7th position, while Heirs General Insurance ranked 41st. These placements demonstrate the firms’ status as leading high-growth businesses on the continent.

Commenting on the recognition, Niyi Onifade, Sector Head of Heirs Insurance Group, stated that the ranking validates the company’s dedication to innovation and sustainable growth. This latest recognition follows the recent launch of PrinceAI, a multilingual generative AI assistant designed to enhance customer access to insurance services and simplify interactions with policyholders. The company stated that this AI-powered platform enables real-time customer engagement and helps reduce barriers that have traditionally hindered insurance adoption in Africa.
