LG Electronics Expands Ramadan Outreach with Iftar Meals and Customer Rewards in Nigeria

LG Electronics has reaffirmed its commitment to community engagement and shared prosperity as Muslim faithful across Nigeria observe the holy month of Ramadan, rolling out a series of outreach and customer-focused initiatives. Under its annual "Share The Life's Good" campaign, the company organized Iftar outreaches in mosques and community centers across major cities, providing meals to fasting Muslims and promoting the values of unity, compassion, and generosity that define the season.

Strengthening Social Bonds During Ramadan

Ramadan, widely regarded as a period of spiritual reflection and devotion, also presents an opportunity for individuals and organizations to strengthen social bonds. LG's intervention aligns with these ideals by supporting families with nourishment and fostering a sense of togetherness during the fasting period. Managing Director of LG Electronics, Mr. Hyoung Sub Ji, described Ramadan as a time that reinforces human connection and shared purpose.

"Ramadan is a sacred period marked by prayer, fasting, and reflection. It brings people closer and reinforces the importance of kindness and community. Through our 'Share The Life's Good' initiative, we are proud to support families and deepen our connection with consumers during this special time," he said.

Expanded Activities and Customer Engagement

Also speaking, the company's Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Moses Osime, noted that LG expanded its Ramadan activities beyond community outreach to include in-store engagements and curated experiences such as special Iftar gatherings for customers and partners. As part of the campaign, the company also rewarded customers through its Ramadan double-digit promotion, offering appliances, shopping vouchers, and gift items to consumers who purchased LG products during the period.

The initiative, according to the firm, was designed to encourage patronage while extending the spirit of giving. Osime added that LG leveraged multiple platforms during Ramadan to engage Muslim faithful, providing support ranging from practical meal preparation solutions to inspirational content tailored to the season.

Practical Support with Home Appliances

With long fasting hours necessitating proper nourishment, the company highlighted the role of its home appliances in easing meal preparation. It also collaborated with influencers and culinary experts to develop nutritious recipes, demonstrating how its kitchen solutions can assist families in preparing balanced Sahur and Iftar meals. "Ramadan gives us the privilege to celebrate community, and LG is proud to be part of that story," he added.

Through the initiative, LG said it aims to strengthen its relationship with Nigerian consumers by delivering not only innovative products but also meaningful experiences that reflect the true spirit of Ramadan.
