SanlamAllianz Nigeria has rewarded outstanding sales representatives and managers at its 2025 The Retail Annual Competition (TRAC) Awards in Lagos, as the underwriting firm moves to strengthen performance culture and expand its market presence. The event brought together top-performing employees from SanlamAllianz Life Insurance and SanlamAllianz General Insurance, with awards presented across several sales and management categories.
Leadership Remarks on the Awards
Speaking on the development, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, SanlamAllianz Life Insurance, Tunde Mimiko, said the awards remained a platform for recognising discipline, resilience and consistency among employees contributing to the company’s growth. According to him, the initiative aims to reinforce accountability and reward excellence across the organisation.
“Our TRAC Awards are not just about celebrating results; they are about recognising the discipline, resilience, and consistency required to achieve them. Sales Champions remain the driving force behind success, and this platform allows us to spotlight their impact,” Mimiko said.
Life Insurance Category Winners
In the financial advisors category, Evans Ifeanyi Anyanwu emerged first, while Stanley Nduka Obuh and Onyinye Eucharia Nwabodo came second and third, respectively. The insurer also recognised outstanding performers across the Retail, Senior Sales, and Area Sales management categories within the Life Insurance business, while Ibrahim Adetunji received the award as top Annuity Coordinator.
General Insurance Division Achievements
In the General Insurance division, Abiodun Soroye emerged as the Top Manager for exceptional leadership and team performance. Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of SanlamAllianz General Insurance, Jacqueline Agweh, said the awards reflected the passion and commitment of employees across the organisation.
“These awards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team members. We are proud to celebrate their contributions to our success,” Agweh added.
