Tribest Corporate Support Group has appointed Abel Fadebi, a seasoned human resources and corporate administration professional, as its Group Executive Director. The company stated that this move is aimed at strengthening leadership capacity and accelerating growth across its manpower, outsourcing, and energy support operations.
Strategic Appointment to Enhance Governance
The company said the appointment reflects its commitment to deepening governance structures and consolidating its position in recruitment, workforce management, outsourcing, and energy support services in Nigeria. Fadebi brings more than 35 years of professional experience spanning the banking, manufacturing, oil servicing, and public sectors, with expertise in human capital management, organizational governance, and strategic administration.
Extensive Career Background
Fadebi spent 28 years at United Bank for Africa (UBA), beginning his career during the Standard Trust Bank era before its merger into UBA. During his time at the bank, he held several strategic positions, including Head of Human Resources Business Partnering for Nigeria, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Group Managing Director/CEO, Executive Assistant to the Deputy Managing Director/CEO for UBA Africa, and Head of Recruitment Support, Confirmation and Records. He also served as Chairman of the Corporate Disciplinary Committee, where he was involved in strengthening governance standards, institutional discipline, and compliance processes within the organization.
Leadership and Growth Vision
According to the company, Fadebi’s experience covers strategic HR partnership, recruitment and selection, policy development, employee relations, staff welfare administration, outsourcing, and disciplinary management. Speaking on the appointment, Chairman of Tribest Corporate Support Group, Udochi Nwaodu, described Fadebi as a transformational leader whose experience aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy.
