Focus on Women's Economic Empowerment

TEWS 2.0 aims to build on the success of the inaugural summit, which brought together over 500 delegates. The theme for this year's summit is 'Playing to Win: Strategies for Women's Economic Empowerment.' The summit will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to equip women with practical tools to advance their careers and businesses.

Okoh emphasized that the summit is not just about inspiration but also about actionable strategies. 'We are bringing together some of the most accomplished women in Nigeria and globally to share their experiences and insights,' she said. 'Our goal is to create a platform where women can learn, connect, and grow.'

Impact and Expectations

The advisory board's involvement is expected to elevate the summit's profile and attract a wider audience. Organizers anticipate over 700 participants, including executives, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. The summit will also feature the launch of a mentorship program aimed at supporting young women in their professional journeys.

Bola Matel Okoh, who is also the Managing Director of Leading Edge Consulting, expressed confidence that TEWS 2.0 will have a lasting impact on women's economic participation in Nigeria. The summit is scheduled to hold on October 22-23, 2026, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
