In a significant move to combat climate change, Prudential Zenith Life Insurance has reinforced its sustainability agenda by organizing a tree planting exercise in the Debojo Community, located within Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. The event, which took place on October 24, 2025, saw the company successfully plant 200 trees.
This environmental initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Clean-Up Badagry Initiative, drawing together a passionate group of staff volunteers from the insurer, local residents, and dedicated environmental advocates. The primary goal was to champion reforestation and amplify awareness about the pressing issue of climate change.

During the event, Samuel Adehaka, the Acting Head of Sustainability at Prudential Zenith Life Insurance, addressed the participants. He emphasized that tree planting is far more than a mere aesthetic improvement for the environment.
He stated, "Tree planting goes beyond the beautification of our environment. It is a strategic investment in cleaner air, enhanced climate resilience, and the overall well-being of our communities."
