The Federal Government has officially declared Wednesday, 27 May and Thursday, 28 May 2026, as public holidays to commemorate the Eid-ul Adha celebration. Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who also serves as Chairman of the board, announced the holiday on behalf of the government.
The announcement was conveyed in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr Magdalene Ajani, in Abuja yesterday.
