Kiakiago Travels has announced plans to expand its operations in Nigeria's travel market while improving service delivery for travelers. The company unveiled entertainer Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz, as its brand ambassador during an event in Abuja.
Addressing Travel Inefficiencies
The General Manager of Kiakiago Travels, Abiola Bakare, stated that Nigerian travelers continue to face inefficiencies across the travel and aviation ecosystem, particularly when dealing with foreign service providers. He emphasized that the firm aims to reposition Nigeria's travel and logistics experience by offering more reliable and accessible services.
Bakare highlighted persistent challenges such as delays in processing travel documents, poor coordination among service providers, and weak customer support systems that have affected the experience of many Nigerian travelers. He argued that indigenous companies should take on a more prominent role in addressing these gaps.
Empowering Indigenous Companies
“We believe Nigerians should no longer be treated as secondary participants in global travel systems. This is about ownership, dignity, and efficiency. Indigenous companies must begin to play at the highest level of the travel and logistics industry,” Bakare said.
The company's expansion plans include leveraging technology to streamline booking processes, enhancing customer support, and partnering with local and international stakeholders to ensure seamless travel experiences. The appointment of JJC Skillz as brand ambassador is part of a broader strategy to connect with Nigerian travelers and promote the brand's commitment to excellence.
Kiakiago Travels aims to set new standards in the travel industry by focusing on customer-centric solutions and addressing long-standing inefficiencies that have hindered the growth of the sector in Nigeria.
