A Nigerian woman, Kemisola Mustapha, has made a heartfelt and unconventional public appeal on social media. The mother of three, who is currently fighting cancer, is actively searching for a second wife for her husband.
A Decision Born from Love and Illness
Kemisola Mustapha, a trader, explained that her health challenges began in 2024 after she received a cancer diagnosis. She shared her story in a video on her TikTok page, stating that the illness has severely impacted her physical strength and her ability to fulfill her marital duties, particularly intimacy. This led her to the difficult decision of seeking another woman to join their family.
"This request is from the bottom of my heart. My mind is totally open to it," Mustapha said. She emphasized that her motivation was concern for her husband's happiness and the overall stability of her family, wishing to prevent any emotional or marital strain caused by her condition.

Mustapha described her husband as incredibly supportive, revealing that he had sold nearly all his properties to fund her cancer treatment and had stood by her both emotionally and financially.
