Bishop David Abioye Reveals How He Fought Wife's HIV Diagnosis
Bishop's Wife HIV Diagnosis: How He Fought It

In a remarkable testimony that has captured national attention, Bishop David Abioye of Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly has revealed how he confronted his wife's HIV diagnosis during the Covid-19 pandemic through spiritual warfare.

The Shocking Diagnosis During Pandemic

The prominent Abuja-based clergyman shared this personal health crisis during a recent Sunday service at his church, detailing how his wife received an HIV diagnosis at the height of the Covid-19 outbreak. According to Bishop Abioye, when medical professionals delivered the troubling news about his wife's condition, he immediately rejected the diagnosis through what he described as scriptural revelation.

"During Covid-19, they said my wife had HIV, I said no, not in this body," the bishop recounted in a video that has since gone viral on social media platform X, shared by Church Gist via its handle @therealchurchg1.

The Spiritual Battle Against Sickness

Bishop Abioye emphasized that he didn't approach the situation gently but rather engaged in what he characterized as a fierce spiritual confrontation. He drew parallels between fighting sickness and dealing with bandits, stating that negotiation is not an option when facing such challenges.

"Healing is not for gentlemen. You don't nurse sickness to go, you fight sickness to go," the bishop declared during his sermon. He further elaborated that "some elements in the country are negotiating with bandits and the more they negotiate with them, the more established they become."

The Miraculous Outcome

The most dramatic part of the testimony came when Bishop Abioye described the subsequent medical examination. After his spiritual intervention, he insisted that doctors conduct another check-up on his wife. To their astonishment, medical professionals could no longer detect the HIV virus in her system.

"By the time they checked her, because I got a scriptural revelation. The prince of this world came to check me and they have found nothing," the bishop testified. He directly addressed a doctor present in the congregation, identified as Doctor B, asking "Am I right Doctor B? He was there."

Bishop Abioye concluded his powerful narrative with a call to action for believers facing similar health challenges, urging them to adopt a confrontational stance rather than a passive one. "You don't negotiate sickness to go, you crush it to go. You stand on the top of it like David stood on the head of Goliath to cut it down," he proclaimed, emphasizing that wondering about the origin of sickness only makes one a "wanderer."
