Brother Aniefiok Daniel Ephraim and his wife, Sister Nkechi Gladys Ephraim, recently took to the testimony podium to share their inspiring journey. Residents of Alapere, Ketu, Lagos, they have been members of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries since 2003, worshiping at the Alapere 1 Regional Headquarters.
A Struggle with Barrenness and Poverty
In his testimony, Brother Aniefiok revealed that their initial reason for joining the church was the challenge of childbearing. After eight years of marriage without a child, they were also struggling financially, living in a slum in Alapere while barely managing to get by. Their lives were marked by hardship and unfulfilled hopes.
Transformation Through Faith
Praise the Lord! Their encounter with The Lord's Chosen in 2003 brought a dramatic turnaround. Within a year of joining, the yoke of eight years of barrenness was broken, and they welcomed a son into their family. Today, that son has already graduated, a testament to God's blessings.
Initially, the couple did not own any land in Nigeria. However, after committing to building for God in Alapere, they were blessed with multiple properties. They now own houses in Lagos and their hometown of Uyo, moving from poverty to stability and comfort.
Business and Educational Ventures
Moreover, God provided them with a bottled and sachet water factory, establishing a source of income. They also received a school in Ikorodu, which includes nursery, primary, and secondary sections. This institution is duly approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Education and WAEC, featuring dormitories for boarders and a mini-sports stadium. All these achievements are attributed to the divine intervention of the Lord.
Civil Service and a Miraculous Recovery
Brother Aniefiok successfully completed thirty-five years of civil service without any issues, further highlighting God's favor. During his service, he made a promise to God to build a church in his community if he accomplished a successful tenure. Demonstrating faith, he started and completed the building project even before finishing his service.
Along the way, he fell ill and passed away. His wife, Sister Nkechi, prayed fervently for his restoration to life, reminding God of her husband's promise, especially regarding the church building. God heard her prayers and brought him back to life, a miraculous event that underscores the power of faith. Praise the Lord! The God of Chosen is indeed great, as evidenced by this couple's journey from despair to abundance.
