Anambra Priest's 2026 Prophecy: Nigeria is Pregnant, Only God Can Save Us
Fr. Ebube Muonso's Cryptic 2026 Prophecy for Nigeria

A prominent Catholic priest from Anambra State has delivered a solemn and cryptic prophecy concerning Nigeria's future in the year 2026, calling for divine intervention and a return to purposeful leadership.

Nigeria is Pregnant with Uncertainty, Priest Declares

In an exclusive interview with a correspondent on Monday, December 22, 2025, the Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry in Uke, Reverend Father Obimma Emmanuel, widely known as Fr. Ebube Muonso, shared his forewarning. The fiery priest, noted for the accuracy of his past predictions, stated plainly, "As far as 2026 is concerned, Nigeria is pregnant. That is what I can say for now. The future of Nigeria is pregnant; it is only God that can save this country."

He made these remarks during an annual Christmas gathering for community residents, organized by his Fada Ebube Muonso Foundation at his family house in Ilo Uruebo village, Nkwelle Ezunaka, within Oyi Local Government Area. While he did not provide specific details about the impending challenges, Fr. Muonso emphasized his commitment to prayer. "As a prophet of the Most High God, I will continue to pray that the Holy Ghost will intervene in the affairs of Nigeria," he affirmed.

Christmas Call for Love and Purposeful Leadership

Beyond the prophecy, Fr. Ebube Muonso used the festive season to deliver a powerful message centered on love and responsible governance. He stressed that the core of Christianity is love, as demonstrated by Jesus Christ. Directing a message to the nation's leaders, he urged them to align their governance with divine purpose.

"Nigerian leaders must lead after God's own heart and purpose," he declared. "They must understand that God entrusts poor Nigerians into their hands. Therefore, they must do everything possible to show love and put smiles on the faces of the citizens. That is the summary of Christmas."

He further called on all Nigerians, especially Christians, to embody this love by maintaining peace in their communities and supporting one another. "Let us emulate Christ who is our Christmas; knowing that in Christ, we triumph, but without Christ, we're in crisis," he concluded.

14 Years of Philanthropy and Cultural Celebration

The event itself was a testament to the priest's message of love in action. Fr. Muonso revealed that the Christmas outreach began 14 years ago when he was still a seminarian, using his pocket money to celebrate with the less privileged. The initiative grew into the monumental Fada Ebube Muonso Foundation following the demise of his mother, focusing on poverty alleviation.

Through the foundation, thousands of individuals receive free education in secondary schools, universities, and seminaries, while hundreds of widows and indigent persons benefit from various support programs. The foundation's manager, Hon. Sir Ubaka Onwuanyi, praised Fr. Muonso as a "defender of the oppressed" and a "living saint of our time."

The gathering was not only philanthropic but also a vibrant cultural showcase. It featured exciting performances including the majestic Ijele masquerade, Enyi mmonwu, Gorilla performance, and Abiliba music, blending charity with the celebration of heritage.

Related Prophetic Warnings for 2026

In a related development, another cleric, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, has also released prophecies for 2026. He predicted at least eight major protests against President Bola Tinubu's administration, which he termed "nemesis protests." His forecast, unveiled on December 20, 2025, also warned of potential security challenges, including attacks on lawmakers' convoys and emergency aircraft incidents, urging nationwide prayer and vigilance.
