Pastor and Police Officer Shares Testimony of Victory Over Curses and Favor

In a powerful testimony, BiriIdowu, a pastor and police officer from Auchi, Edo State, currently serving in Akure, Ondo State, has recounted his journey from struggle to triumph through faith. He joined the Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in 2014, marking a turning point in his life after years of hardship attributed to spiritual curses.

Early Life and Spiritual Struggles

BiriIdowu's father died early, and his mother took him and his siblings to a shrine for dedication. This act, he believes, led to a series of misfortunes. He joined the police force in 2000, but despite hard work, he experienced no promotions or favor, describing it as "working like an elephant, but eating like an ant." He attributed these struggles to the shrine dedication, recalling a stream at the shrine inhabited by a snake that would appear in his prayers, crawling on his leg.

Seeking Solutions and Continued Challenges

Over the years, BiriIdowu visited numerous spiritual leaders, including "Alfas," and even engaged in a three-day dry fasting and prayer in 2004, hoping for a breakthrough. However, these efforts proved futile. The night after his fasting, he had a disturbing dream where he was given a broom to eat, symbolizing his ongoing torment. He described this period as "passing through hell," with time insufficient to detail all his sufferings.

Divine Intervention and Breakthrough

The turning point came when BiriIdowu watched the Lord's Chosen cable channel and was invited to the church in 2014. During a service, the General Overseer preached on 'Beware Of The Snares Of Sinners' and prayed, specifically addressing BiriIdowu: "you young man looking at me now, that python in your village, I curse it to die now in Jesus' name." That night, BiriIdowu dreamed of the snake burning to ashes, signifying the curse's end.

Manifestation of Favor and Blessings

Immediately after the snake's demise in his dream, BiriIdowu experienced a surge of favor. He purchased a piece of land with funds whose source he cannot explain, and the same month, a friend overseas gifted him a car. He testifies that all curses in his life were broken through the prayers, and favor has become his new identity. Today, by God's grace, he has built a branch of the Lord's Chosen church in his village.

Praise and Prayer for the Future

BiriIdowu praises the God of Chosen as a wonder-working deity, asserting that no power can withstand Him. He concludes with a prayer for the General Overseer to fulfill his ministry excellently and for all members worldwide to make heaven. His story serves as an inspiration of faith overcoming adversity.
