DIPA Empowers 287 Women with Welfare Packages and Spiritual Support in Lagos

Deborah's Impact Projects Africa (DIPA), operating under the People of Influence Network, has successfully empowered approximately 287 women by providing them with welfare packages filled with essential food items. This significant initiative was carried out during the March edition of the Joseph's Project Outreach, which took place in Lagos and was organized in collaboration with This Is Jacob, the men's arm of the ministry.

Focus on Vulnerable Groups and Structured Implementation

The outreach event specifically targeted diverse beneficiaries, including widows who were intentionally invited from a widow's association, highlighting DIPA's commitment to supporting vulnerable groups. In a statement, DIPA's Lead, Nkoyo Ugbe, emphasized that the Joseph's Project reflects the organization's dedication to demonstrating hope through practical interventions that address both spiritual and physical needs.

Diezani Ototo-Onuorah, the Project Lead at DIPA, underscored the importance of structured implementation in achieving meaningful impact. She noted that each outreach represents lives transformed and communities strengthened, with the organization remaining committed to delivering sustainable interventions across key areas such as education and welfare, healthcare access, food security, and economic empowerment. Additionally, DIPA maintains strong governance practices, including financial transparency, beneficiary safeguarding, and monitoring and evaluation.

Spiritual and Material Support Combined

The program commenced with an opening prayer led by Diezani Ototo-Onuorah, setting a tone of praise and worship. Apostle Isi Igenegba delivered an encouraging message in Pidgin, pronouncing blessings on the participants, while Nkoyo Ugbe provided further teaching with interpretation in Yoruba to ensure inclusivity and understanding among attendees. This spiritual segment culminated in 31 individuals responding to an altar call, showcasing the outreach's holistic approach.

Beyond spiritual ministration, the initiative offered tangible support to the beneficiaries. All 287 women received welfare packages containing essential food items, and cooked meals were served on-site, providing immediate relief and sustenance. DIPA expressed gratitude to its partners, volunteers, and supporters, particularly This Is Jacob, for their contributions to the success of the outreach.

Commitment to Sustainable Impact

DIPA's efforts in Lagos demonstrate a comprehensive approach to empowerment, blending spiritual guidance with material assistance to foster resilience and hope among women in need. By focusing on structured implementation and collaboration, the organization aims to create lasting positive changes in communities, reinforcing its mission to address both immediate and long-term challenges through targeted interventions.
