Dr. Stan Emoh Honoured for Expanding Education Support in Anambra

Dr. Stan Emoh, the founder of Offor Global Network, has been recognised for his significant contributions to education in Anambra State. He received an award of recognition at the 2025 Anambra State Post Primary Schools Service Commission (PPSSC) Cultural Carnival, an event themed “Sustaining Culture and Traditions in Anambra State.” This ceremony highlighted the rich cultural diversity and innovations within the educational sector.

Financial Relief for Students

Dr. Emoh’s intervention involved offsetting the school fees for more than 1,500 students across three schools in Nsugbe: Community High School, Community Primary School, and Central School. This support covered the first, second, and third terms of a complete academic year, providing substantial financial relief to families and ensuring students could continue their education without interruption.

Recognition from Education Authorities

At the event, the Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, praised Dr. Emoh as “a visionary whose generosity and leadership continue to inspire a new generation of learners and community builders.” She emphasised that his efforts have not only alleviated financial burdens on parents but have also motivated students to remain dedicated to their studies.

Professor Chuma-Udeh noted that the support from Offor Global Network has helped bridge critical gaps in educational access, particularly for students from low-income families who might otherwise have been forced to drop out. She stressed that such initiatives are vital for strengthening human capital development in the state and align with the government’s goals of improving educational outcomes at the post-primary level.

Beyond Financial Assistance

The impact of Dr. Emoh’s contributions extends beyond mere financial aid. According to the commissioner, it has fostered a culture of hope, responsibility, and excellence among beneficiaries. By easing economic pressures, the initiative has allowed students to focus on their academic pursuits while actively participating in extracurricular and cultural activities, promoting holistic development.

Call for Collaborative Efforts

Professor Chuma-Udeh used the occasion to urge other private individuals, corporate organisations, and philanthropists to follow Dr. Emoh’s example by investing in education. She highlighted that sustainable progress in the sector requires collaborative efforts between government and non-state actors, with public-private partnerships being key to transforming the education landscape in Anambra State.

Future Commitments

In his response, Dr. Emoh expressed gratitude to the state government and the PPSSC for the recognition, describing it as a motivation to do more. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education and youth empowerment, pledging that Offor Global Network will continue to expand its interventions. His goal is to ensure that no child is denied education due to financial constraints, with plans to extend support to more schools and students across the state.

The event also featured a cultural carnival and talent fair exhibition, showcasing the vibrant talents within Anambra’s educational community.
