Wellington College International Lagos has announced the appointment of Christine Haslett as its Founding Headmaster, effective 1 August 2026. This appointment marks a significant milestone as the school progresses towards its opening in September 2027, ensuring experienced leadership at a formative stage of its development.

Christine Haslett is an accomplished international school leader with a strong track record in both day and boarding schools across the United Kingdom, China, and Indonesia. She played a key leadership role in establishing Wellington College Independent School Jakarta, contributing to the development of its academic, pastoral, and organisational foundations. Her leadership approach combines strategic clarity with a deep commitment to pastoral care, community building, and academic excellence.
