To view their results, candidates must send an SMS with the keyword UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019. At this initial stage, candidates can only check their results online; printing facilities are not yet available. Warning Against Result Manipulation and Falsification
JAMB has issued a stern warning to candidates against tampering with the SMS responses received from the official platforms. Manipulating or fabricating scores to mislead others, including parents, is considered a serious criminal offence. The Board emphasizes that such misconduct will be treated with the utmost gravity, and perpetrators will face legal consequences. Currently, two candidates and one parent are in custody for allegedly using artificial intelligence (AI) and other electronic means to falsify results. JAMB reiterates that any individual found guilty of result manipulation will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
