Pricon College Wins Award for Academic Excellence and Moral Upholding
Lagos School Honoured for Academic and Behavioural Standards

The Solid Family Counseling Foundation (SFCF) has presented a special award to Pricon College in Isheri Oshun, Lagos, recognising the school's dual commitment to academic rigour and the cultivation of strong moral character among its students.

Foundation Champions Good Behaviour as Societal Antidote

During the award ceremony held on 20 December 2025, the foundation strongly advocated for the integration of empathy and good conduct within the educational system. Officials from SFCF stated that these values serve as a powerful remedy for many of the challenges facing society today.

Why Pricon College Was Chosen

Dr. Nkoloagu Kenneth Nelly, the Chaplain and Counselor of SFCF, explained the rationale behind selecting Pricon College for the honour. He cited the institution's consistent academic achievements and the high moral standards it has maintained over an extended period.

Dr. Nelly specifically praised the school's proprietress, Mrs. Adejoke Ajao, for her firm disciplinary approach, which he said distinguishes the school from others. "Managing children is a complex task that requires both maternal insight and educational expertise, especially when it involves shaping both morals and intellect. Pricon College has accomplished this, and we commend the proprietress and her entire management team," he stated.

Education Must Be Paired with Moral Teaching

Echoing this sentiment, the Managing Director of SFCF, Mrs. Patricia Orjieh, emphasised the inseparable link between knowledge and virtue. She argued that education without a solid moral foundation holds little value for a child's development. "The two are complementary and form the essential basis for securing a positive future for our children," Mrs. Orjieh affirmed.

In her acceptance speech, the honoured proprietress, Mrs. Adejoke Ajao, described the award as a motivation to strive for even greater heights. "We will not rest on our oars. To whom much is given, much is expected," she said, urging her students to persist in their exemplary behaviour and empathetic attitudes.

The event was attended by the school's principal, Mr. Jonathan Irimoren, alongside students, staff, and other invited guests, marking a significant celebration of educational values in the Lagos community.
