The Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has successfully concluded a comprehensive three-day residential retreat designed for board members and management staff. Addressing participants at the retreat, which carried the theme "Rebranding the Teaching Service Commission through Excellence and Strategic Innovation," the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Jamiu Tolani Alli Balogun, highlighted the event's significance. The opening ceremony of the three-day residential retreat witnessed significant attendance from key educational leaders. This included all six Tutor Generals and Permanent Secretaries from the state's education districts, as well as the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mr. Hakeem Shittu. The event was formally declared open by Honorable Oladele Ajayi, Chairman of the State House of Assembly Committee on Establishment, Training, Pension, and Public Service, underscoring the government's support for this strategic initiative.
