Lagos recently witnessed an extraordinary celebration of learning and community spirit as Children's International School (CIS) Lekki hosted its much-anticipated Family Fun Day. Among the distinguished guests present were Mrs. Bukola Peters, the Assistant Head of Senior School for Emerging Technologies and Innovation, and Mrs. Julie King, the Head of Senior School. The event also showcased the talented school band 'Unfinished Business', featuring members Olalekan, Dara, Zitara, and Karan, who delivered an outstanding performance that earned them significant recognition.

"One of the key issues essential to learning in the classroom and on the sports field is resilience," King stated during his address. "It's the ability to try again if you're not successful the first time." He further observed that "If you watch these children out there, they are taking risks, and we live in a world which is becoming increasingly risk-averse for our children," highlighting the importance of such events in fostering courage and determination among young learners.
