The family of the late Pa James Okori from Akpugo, Ihube-Okigwe, Imo State, has officially announced the burial arrangements for their beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, and aunt, Ezinne Lucy Ugodiye Okori.
Details of the Burial
Ezinne Okori passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 85. Her body will be moved from the Jose Bonifacio (JB) Mortuary in Okigwe to her hometown of Akpugo, Ihube, in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at her compound by the Methodist Church of Nigeria starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at 12:00 p.m. at the same location.
Surviving Family Members
The late matriarch is survived by eight children, 30 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, who will gather to honor her memory.
