This landmark program celebrates the nation's most exceptional senior secondary school students, distributing over ₦35 million in comprehensive scholarships and academic support packages to recognize and foster scientific talent.
Rigorous National Competition Culminates in Lagos Finale
The announcement follows an extensive and demanding selection process that spanned several months, involving rigorous nationwide assessments of more than 18,000 participating students from various regions. This competitive journey culminated in a high-stakes grand finale held in Lagos, where the brightest minds demonstrated their capabilities in scientific reasoning, innovative problem-solving, and intellectual endurance through multiple challenging stages.
Meet the Three Outstanding Scholarship Recipients
After progressing through the intense competition, three remarkable students emerged as the top performers, earning prestigious titles and substantial financial awards:
- Saint Riman from Adedokun International Schools in Ota, Ogun State, was crowned Nigeria's Best STEM Student. He received a significant ₦15 million tertiary education scholarship distributed over five years, complemented by a brand-new laptop and monthly stipends to support his ongoing academic journey.
- David Okorie from Caleb International College in Magodo, Lagos State, achieved the position of First Runner-Up. His accomplishment was rewarded with a ₦10 million scholarship spread across five years and a brand-new laptop.
- David Solomonezemma from Deeper Life High School in Enugu State secured the Second Runner-Up title. He was granted a ₦5 million scholarship also allocated over five years, along with a brand-new laptop.
