Discovery in Kaduna Village

According to family sources close to the situation, the missing student was finally located in a rural community within Kaduna State. He had been living under the care of an Islamic cleric who provided him shelter after finding him in a mentally distressed condition years earlier.

A family member confirmed the remarkable development, stating: "He was found in a village in Kaduna with a cleric who said he took him in years ago when he appeared mentally unstable."

Family's Relief and Recovery

The Ibrahim family has expressed profound relief and gratitude to God following years of uncertainty and anguish over Shafiu's whereabouts. After the prolonged period of disappearance, the family can finally celebrate the safe recovery of their loved one.

Shafiu has now been successfully reunited with his family members and is reported to be in stable condition as he begins the process of reintegrating into normal life. The emotional reunion marks the end of a painful chapter for the family that began when the student first went missing in 2021.
