A young Nigerian man has been celebrated by his parents after graduating with flying colors from Lead City University, marking a triumphant end to a journey that nearly derailed when he expressed a desire to quit school. Mother Recalls Miraculous Birth Amid Doctor's Doubt
In the video posted by @gbeduski750, the graduate's mother recounted a poignant memory from her pregnancy. She revealed that a doctor once told her there was no baby in her womb, despite her being pregnant. Defying expectations, she delivered him several months later, and now, 27 years on, they are celebrating his academic achievement.
"My sweetest memory ever in life was the day I gave birth to him," she said. "The reason I call it my sweetest memory is because when I was pregnant, the doctor told me there was no pregnancy. But today, we are celebrating that he matured in the womb and I gave birth to him 27 years ago."
Father Reveals Son's Attempt to Quit During A-Levels
The father, also an engineering graduate and the first in the family to achieve this, shared a critical moment from their son's education. He explained that during his A-levels, their son called his mother to say he was no longer interested in going to school, which left her deeply worried. However, the family's support and encouragement helped him persevere.
"There was a day he called his mother while doing his A-levels to say he was no longer interested in going to school. His mother was worried," the father recalled in the video.

The young man, who earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Lead City University, expressed his joy and gratitude on social media. He posted messages celebrating his accomplishment, attributing his success to divine intervention and the unwavering belief of his parents.
In his posts, he wrote: "God did. B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering bagged. That God I made it through. Thanks to everyone that believed in me especially my Daddy my mummy. Shoutout to lead city university. To be a graduate it’s not easy."
