A Nigerian lady, Deborah Oluwafisibe, has celebrated her academic achievement as she graduated with a first-class degree in Biology Education from the University of Ibadan (UI). She shared her plans to pursue a Master's degree and eventually a PhD in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.

On her LinkedIn page, Deborah Oluwafisibe, who earned a CGPA of 3.74 out of 5.0, detailed her aspirations and the opportunities she is seeking. She expressed her passion for science and research, which has grown over the years, leading her to develop a strong interest in bioinformatics and computational biology.
She stated: "Hello LinkedIn Community, My name is OLUWAFISIBE DEBORAH OYINKANSOLA, and I'm proud to introduce myself as a First Class graduate of Biology Education from the University of Ibadan. Over the years, my passion for science and research has continued to grow, leading me to develop a strong interest in the fields of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. I have always been fascinated by scientific research and the endless possibilities technology brings to biological discoveries and innovations."
Deborah acknowledged that transitioning from Biology Education to a Master's and PhD in Bioinformatics may seem challenging to some, but she emphasized the importance of believing in oneself and not limiting dreams. She noted that growth begins when one steps beyond their comfort zone.
She is currently seeking opportunities such as Graduate Assistant positions in Biological sciences to gain experience, contribute meaningfully, and grow academically and professionally. She is also open to collaborations, internships, scholarships, research opportunities, professional connections, and mentorship to fast-track her dreams and career goals.
