A Nigerian man named Samuel Calvary has celebrated the end of his undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan, where he earned two degrees simultaneously. The fresh graduate shared his experience and expressed gratitude for completing his academic journey.
On his Facebook page, Calvary announced his freedom from lectures, tests, night classes, and other school activities. He listed the things he was finally free from, including late-night assignments, impromptu tests, attendance registers, boring classes, and semester exams.
Calvary stated that he was taking a pause in his educational journey but planned to continue with a master's degree program in the near future. His Facebook post read: "Finally free from the late night assignments and reading, impromptu tests, attendance register, boring classes and semesters exam. I paused the pen now, to pick it up later for my Masters degree program soonest."
He also revealed that he was graduating with two degrees from the University of Ibadan: a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd). He expressed his gratitude to God, saying that God's timing is never too late. Calvary added: "This is a testament that God's time is never too late... Now, I'm a proud graduate bagging two degrees B. Ed/ B. Sc Education Management Economics/ Political Science. It can only be God."
His story triggered reactions on social media, with many people congratulating him on his academic achievement. Some of the comments included "Congratulations bro" and "Congratulations."
