In the medical and science fields, four lecturers received promotions to the rank of Professor. These include Dr. Mary O. Ologe from the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Dr. Hafsat A. Ameen from the Department of Epidemiology and Community Health, Dr. Oluwabunmi I. N. Buhari from the Department of Behavioural Sciences, and Dr. S. T. Abdullahi from the Department of Pharmaceutical and Medical Chemistry.

Faculty of Education Leads with Nine New Professors
The Faculty of Education recorded the highest number of promotions in this round, with nine academic staff elevated to Professor. The newly promoted professors include Dr. A. Saidu from the Department of Arts Education, Dr. Aminat A. Odebode and Dr. Falilat A. Okesina from the Department of Counsellor Education, and Dr. A. T. Muritala from the Department of Education Management.
Other promotions in the Faculty of Education include Dr. A. A. Lawal, Dr. A. A. Atolagbe, Dr. O. J. Ojo, and Dr. A. A. Tijani, all from the Department of Education Management, as well as Dr. A. M. Akanmu from the Department of Science Education.
