Nollywood actress and baby mama to controversial singer Portable, Ashabi Simple, has provided a chilling account of the violent events that culminated in the musician's recent detention by the police. The actress filed an official complaint alleging severe physical assault against her and her family members.
Violent Assault on Siblings
In a detailed narration, Ashabi Simple alleged that the altercation took a violent turn when Portable physically attacked two of her siblings. She claimed the 'Zazu' crooner punched her brother with such force that the young man's eye has remained swollen and shut since the incident. Her sister was also not spared, allegedly receiving a slap from the singer for a comment she made online which he deemed disrespectful.
Fearing for her safety as emotions ran high, Ashabi said she made the decision to flee the scene to prevent further escalation. However, her escape did not mark the end of the ordeal.
Confrontation with an Axe and Bizarre Ritual
The actress revealed that Portable later accosted her at a different location, this time armed with a weapon. "He came at me with an axe," she recounted, describing a moment of genuine terror where she was uncertain of the outcome.
In an even more bewildering incident, Ashabi narrated how Portable produced a pot, scooped water from it, and poured it on her while chanting in an unfamiliar language. She described this as a confusing and terrifying act performed in what she called an "esoteric language."
