Daddy Freeze Dares Cross Da Boss to Produce Pastor Who Can Heal Cripple
Daddy Freeze Dares Cross Da Boss to Find Healing Pastor

Popular media personality Daddy Freeze has fired back at Big Brother Naija star Cross ‘Da Boss’ Okonkwo after a heated social media clash over criticism of Nigerian clergymen. The feud escalated on Sunday, June 14, when Cross publicly ordered Freeze to “shut up” and stop his frequent attacks on Christian leaders.

The dispute began after Daddy Freeze released a video criticizing high-profile religious figures who attended the Service of Songs for late actor Alexx Ekubo. Freeze singled out gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey and Pastor Jerry Eze, who noted during the service that they were scheduled to meet Ekubo just a day before his death. Freeze questioned why these clergymen failed to heal the actor while he battled the illness that ultimately claimed his life.

In a reaction posted on X, Cross blasted Freeze, demanding he remain silent unless he had positive remarks about Jesus Christ or religious leaders. Refusing to back down, Daddy Freeze issued a high-stakes counter-challenge to the reality TV star. He promised to pay ₦50 million to Cross or any non-governmental organization (NGO) of his choice if Cross could produce a single Nigerian pastor capable of healing a certified cripple in the manner of Jesus Christ.

Anticipating counter-arguments regarding his own spiritual status and that of his close associate, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, Freeze clarified their roles. He emphasized that both he and Pastor Tobi function strictly as “scripture teachers” rather than miracle-working clergymen, exempting them from the challenge.
