Beauty entrepreneur Adeola "Diiadem" Adeyemi has confirmed that she previously dated a married man, firing back at her former best friend and Real Housewives of Lagos co-star, Dabota Lawson, amid their ongoing online feud. Diiadem also alleged that Dabota pursued the same man after believing he financed her lifestyle.
Diiadem Admits to Relationship with Married Man
In a series of posts, Diiadem addressed the swirling rumors, admitting she was in a relationship with a married man. She claimed that Dabota only showed interest in him after assuming he was bankrolling Diiadem's lavish lifestyle. The confirmation comes after Dabota accused Diiadem of having an affair with a married man and even being pregnant for him last November.
Clarifying the Bali Trip and Visa Arrangements
Diiadem also clarified details about a planned trip to Bali with the married man, identified as Churchill. Contrary to Dabota's claims, Diiadem stated that Dabota did not help arrange her visa for the trip. Instead, Dabota only provided the contact of a visa agent. This clarification adds another layer to the unraveling friendship.
Tension Over Matchmaking Attempts
The tension between the two women escalated, according to Diiadem, after Dabota unsuccessfully tried to set Churchill up with interior designer Ehi Ogbebor. Churchill reportedly rejected the match, which further strained relations. Diiadem also accused Dabota of sending her pictures to men for financial gain without her consent, a serious allegation that has fueled the public spat.
Birthday Party Money and Other Accusations
Diiadem claimed that all the money Dabota sprayed on her during her birthday party in April was later retrieved by Dabota and taken home. She also alleged that Dabota previously badmouthed actress Tonto Dikeh, instructing her to ignore Dikeh in Abuja. Diiadem said Dabota became infuriated when she greeted Dikeh instead, showing the depth of their falling out.
Counter-Accusations and Online Feud
Diiadem leveled further counter-accusations, alleging that Dabota dated a friend's brother-in-law and openly gushed over the husband of Olori Atuwatse III. The feud, which has played out publicly on social media, began when Diiadem called out Dabota for allegedly paying blogs to smear her name. Dabota responded by claiming Diiadem had an affair with a married man and was even pregnant for him last November.
Both women continue to exchange accusations online, with no signs of reconciliation. The public spectacle has drawn attention to their personal lives and the breakdown of their once-close friendship.
