Dua Lipa Declines Offer to Perform at Joshua vs Fury 2026 Fight
Dua Lipa Declines Joshua vs Fury Fight Performance Offer

British singer Dua Lipa has turned down an offer to perform at the anticipated 2026 heavyweight boxing clash between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. Despite Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalshikh reportedly making her performance a likely humorous condition for the event, the singer declined the invitation according to reports from the UK.

With more than 64 million monthly listeners on Spotify, her presence would have added significant appeal to the all-British clash. According to Sky Sports, it is unclear whether the remark was made in earnest or in jest, but BBC Sport understands the 30-year-old singer was approached about performing but declined the offer, and is not expected to be involved in the event.

Dua Lipa is known for headlining major events and recently won top honors at the Grammy Awards. Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn addressed the situation this week, clarifying that the request did not come from the fighters. "That's not a request from either fighter or me," Hearn stated. "[Turki] is saying that if Netflix want to do the show it's got to be in London and Dua Lipa's got to perform. That's over to Turki Alalshikh."
