Graduate Honors Pepper Seller Who Supported Her Through School
A graduate of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has gone viral after she visited a pepper seller in the market on her sign-out day to thank him for his consistent kindness. In a TikTok video posted by @shyshortgurll1, she explained that the pepper seller, identified as Aliyu, had helped her numerous times during her studies, often giving her pepper and onions even when she had no money.
The graduate recounted that on several occasions, she would go to his shop lamenting that she had no money, and Aliyu would not only give her pepper but also ask if she had anything to cook at home. She noted that he showed up for his business even when he was feeling unwell.
Aliyu's Kindness Extended to Many Students
According to the graduate, Aliyu was not just kind to her but also assisted many other students. She wrote in her video: "A lot of students too have their own part of what ALIYU has done for them." She described how she went to his shop on Saturday to get pepper, and he asked why he hadn't seen her face recently. She explained that she was writing her final exams and had just finished. Aliyu then asked why she didn't bring her sign-out shirt for him to sign. She promised to do so on Sunday and fulfilled that promise, making him very happy.
