Alexer Peres, the ex-wife of Nigerian singer Okiri Tara Harry, popularly known as Harrysong, has announced that she has been granted full custody of their two daughters. She made the announcement on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 5, 2026.

In her post, Alexer wrote: 'You guys God did it. FULL CUSTODY On Settlement Grounds.' She expressed gratitude to her supporters, adding: 'I want to use this medium to say a big thank you to everyone who stood by me, supported me and wished me well. God bless y'all for the love. I sincerely appreciate.'
Background of the Marriage and Separation
Harrysong and Alexer got married in 2021. However, in 2024, Alexer announced that the marriage was over. Following the separation, Harrysong made derogatory comments about Alexer's character and that of her mother, insinuating that her mother had multiple husbands. Alexer responded by clarifying that her mother had only remarried once after her father's death. She further alleged that Harrysong was projecting and claimed that he has five siblings from different fathers who are not known.
Legal Battle Over Custody
In 2025, Alexer posted about being free, hinting at finalizing the divorce. However, at the start of 2026, she cried out that Harrysong had taken custody of their two daughters and was preventing her from seeing them. She warned that her daughters must not be sexually abused while in his care and vowed to fight him in court for custody. Harrysong responded by stating that he had his reasons for taking custody.

Now, Alexer has happily announced that she has been granted full custody of their daughters on settlement grounds, bringing an end to the custody dispute.
