Popular Nigerian TikTok influencer, Elizabeth Amaduo, widely known as Jarvis, has broken her silence in an emotional public appeal concerning her mother's serious health condition.
In a heartfelt video that went viral on Wednesday, January 8, 2026, the content creator shared the painful reality of her family's situation, pleading for understanding from the online community.
An Emotional Plea and Fear of Online Backlash
Jarvis revealed that her biological mother is currently battling a severe, undisclosed illness. She expressed deep worry that critics on social media might eventually use images or videos of her sick mother against her.
"So my mom is actually sick. What I'm saying is that online is crazy. Tomorrow they might video her in her condition and try to use it against me," Jarvis explained in the clip.
She further stated her fear that people would question her care for her mother, despite her financial success. "Social media will always say, 'Oh, why didn't you take care of her? You have all the money, you have everything.' But the thing is that at this point, money can't solve it. It's just God, fate, belief," she added poignantly.
A Mother's Strength and an Absent Father
The TikTok star paid a moving tribute to her mother, who she said has been both a parent and a defender for her family. "I love my mom and she tried. She tried, like she really tried. She fought, she defended us without any father's support," Jarvis noted.
She also disclosed the absence of her Senegalese father from her life, revealing that all communication ceased during her early childhood. Jarvis has personally taken steps to find him, traveling to Senegal, but her efforts have so far been unsuccessful.
"From the beginning of my birth, he used to call me Aminata... But it got to a point when the whole communication line stopped. Till today, I haven't heard from him. I'm the one searching. I've gone to Senegal. I'm still trying my best," she revealed.
Context of Public Scrutiny Following Breakup
This deeply personal revelation comes after a period of intense public scrutiny for Jarvis. Her personal life became a topic of widespread discussion following her high-profile separation from fellow content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as "Peller," in December 2025.
The breakup was marked by dramatic public incidents, including a car accident involving Peller. Their relationship, which played out largely on social media, had captivated millions of followers since they first connected through a viral duet challenge in 2023.
Before their split, Jarvis and Peller were celebrated as one of TikTok's most entertaining duos, known for their collaborative dance and comedy skits, and their strong public support for each other's milestones.
Jarvis's current appeal shifts the focus from online drama to a raw, family-centered struggle, highlighting the human reality behind the social media persona.
