Jeremy Renner Accused of ICE Threat by Film Partner

Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner, famous for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, faces serious allegations from his filmmaking partner Yi Zhou. The Chinese filmmaker has come forward with claims of threatening behavior and inappropriate conduct that has shocked the entertainment industry.

Shocking Allegations Surface

According to Zhou's Instagram posts this week, the 54-year-old actor began sending her unsolicited intimate images through direct messages and WhatsApp in June 2025. The 34-year-old filmmaker revealed that these unexpected communications eventually led to a romantic relationship between them.

The pair collaborated on two film projects during their relationship - a documentary and an animated movie. However, their professional partnership took a dramatic turn during a meeting about their documentary "Chronicles Of Disney" at Renner's residence in Reno, Nevada.

Terrifying Incident at Renner's Home

Zhou described a frightening scenario to the Daily Mail where Renner consumed an entire bottle of wine alone and became increasingly angry. "He drank a bottle of wine alone and got angry and angry yelling for two hours," she recounted.

Fearing for her safety, Zhou took immediate precautions by sharing her location with her team, parents, and Disney colleagues. "I had to lock myself in a room to be safe praying he would not come into the room at night as he was really angry," she explained, adding that she felt genuinely scared for her life during the incident.

The Daily Mail published text messages exchanged between Zhou and her Disney colleagues during the confrontation. In these messages, she described Renner as "violent" and expressed being "worried" about her situation. One colleague suggested she lock herself in the bathroom, noting that Renner sounded "crazy."

Immigration Threat and Aftermath

The situation escalated further when Zhou confronted Renner about his behavior privately. She claims the actor threatened to contact immigration authorities against her. "When I called him out privately about his past misconduct and asked him to behave properly, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me," Zhou stated in her Instagram post.

Text messages provided to the Daily Mail appear to support her claims, with Renner allegedly responding to her complaints with "Immigration will be notified of your —" while Zhou called him a "pig" and told him to "go to hell."

Zhou described her experience as "a story of survival against domestic aggression, porn abuse and abuse of workplace and abuse as a woman." She emphasized that it took her considerable time to gather the courage to speak publicly about these incidents.

This isn't the first time Renner has faced serious allegations from a partner. During his divorce proceedings with ex-wife Sonni Pacheco in 2014, she accused him of threatening to kill both her and himself, along with allegations of drug use. Renner has consistently denied all previous allegations.

The entertainment industry and fans await Renner's response to these latest claims as the story continues to develop.
