Kehinde Adegbodu Responds to Health Rumors
Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has released a video addressing public concerns about his health and recent challenges his family has faced, months after the death of his twin brother, Taiwo. In the video, Adegbodu appears noticeably slimmer with visible burns on his lips and one hand, prompting widespread concern among fans and followers.
Fire Accident at Home
Adegbodu explained that a minor fire incident occurred at his home, which he chose not to share on social media. The burns affected only his lips and hand, and both have since healed. He emphasized, 'It was not a spiritual attack. Everyone has one or two things they are battling with medically and spiritually. Just remember me in your prayers.'
Intentional Weight Loss
The gospel singer also addressed his weight loss, stating it was intentional and not due to illness. After his twin brother's death, friends, including those abroad, advised him to focus on his health and reduce his protruding stomach. Adegbodu took this advice seriously and has been working on improving his health. He noted that he can now comfortably wear clothes he had previously abandoned due to his weight.
He dismissed claims that alcohol consumption was responsible for his appearance, insisting such reports are false. 'To those saying my alcohol consumption is too much, alcohol didn't cause the fire. I lost some weight because of my health. When Taiwo passed away, people called me and said my stomach was too big and that I should work on it. I am not sick,' he said.
Fans React with Support and Concern
Many fans expressed support and offered prayers for Adegbodu's recovery and family. Comments on the video included: '@damilolakemi wrote: God Be with you Sir. Nothing must do this man God pls.' '@houseofdivadeo reacted: Oluwaseun, so soft spoken, may the Lord continue to be with you.' '@beachwear.ng commented: May God be with him.' '@pricelesspreshy said: God pls protect this man. I just hope he's not be affected by his other half's demise.' '@aduks28 shared: ThankGod ure fine, keep working on ur weightloss. God is with u.' However, some fans expressed skepticism, with '@skindunero55 reacting: Baba something dey do u see ur look see ur face see the way u are talking so something is doing u jare.'
