A Nigerian lady, Blessing Nnamekwe, has raised an alarm on Facebook over a man's puzzling behavior around the casket of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo. The incident occurred during the actor's funeral rites in his hometown of Arochukwu, Abia State, on June 17, 2026.
Man's Suspicious Behavior Around Alexx Ekubo's Casket
Blessing shared a short video clip on Facebook showing an unidentified man briefly touching Alexx's coffin while it was inside an ambulance. She called on the actor's family to question the man, wondering why he touched the casket with his ring. In her words: 'Alex Okubo family should question this man….why did he touched the casket with his ring?'
Another Facebook user, Mazi Jude Pondis, also observed the same behavior and uploaded a longer version of the clip. He wrote: 'Did anyone else notice what that man in black suit did to Alex Ekubo's casket? While everyone else was mourning and screaming, he used his ring and touched Alex's casket. Watch the video closely, you will notice what I'm talking about. I just hope this is nothing more than what I'm thinking because I don't trust anybody these days.'

Meanwhile, excitement has increased online over fresh rumors about Alexx Ekubo's wife being pregnant. The convoy carrying the actor's remains stopped at the Eze Aro of Arochukwu's Palace, where the traditional ruler said a prayer over the casket. During the supplication, he asked God to ensure that Alexx's lineage does not end, claiming that the late actor's wife is pregnant. He prayed that the child would do greater exploits than his father.
